How to Read This Book

You may enter by any door. The book will still be a scale.

Three suggested paths

(A) Cover to cover. The default public road: Front Matter through Part V into the Epilogue. Story earns the theorems; philosophy names what the story showed; evidence counts the law; synthesis gathers it; the path humanises without leading with wounds. This is the order the work was built to be held.

(B) Fable → Path → Evidence. For readers who need the human frame before the proofs. Walk Axis with Ioan; hear why this road was chosen; then test the theorems with a warmer hand.

(C) Evidence-first. For technical readers and builders. Read the lexicon and hierarchical numbers, then Parts III and IV. Return to the fable and philosophy as colour once the claims have been weighed.

Typographic cues

Lexicon tickets mark living etymology and etiquette at first use—small frames that teach how a word is to be held, not how it is to be worshipped. Hierarchical numbers (H0–H9) appear where a connection, conversion, transformation, or transmission needs a public name. Pale and Shade are never costumes of people; when they appear, they name slopes of structure.

Companion affordances

Listen mode and a study folder belong to the site beside the print. They are helps for comprehension when the pile of explanation grows heavy—not requirements for the page you hold. A Soft pace, one sentence at a time, is enough. The rest of the book can wait.
